Worshipping God and Loving the Saints for the Fame of Jesus’ Name
Risen Son ultimately exists for the glory of God. We are to proclaim Jesus, making disciples, and teaching them all He has commanded, so that they might be found mature in Him (Matt 28:18-20; 1 Cor 10:31; Col 1:28, 29). We seek to proclaim the gospel of the glory of Christ (or—the preeminence of Christ) by open statement of the truth, letting love be genuine, heeding justice and the love of God. (Rom 12:9; 2 Cor 4:1-6; Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42 Isaiah 1:23)
The vision for the church is to accomplish its purpose according to the ordinary means of grace; preaching, teaching, singing, ordinances, and prayer in a simple and organic manner.
